The Shack is a seafood restaurant in Abu Dhabi with an American twist, think a refined Red Lobster with a chic rustic look. The identity by Armenia-based Backbone Branding features a great logo where the “THE” in the name is made up of wood planks and arranged like a shack. It’s a simple pleasure to see it happen. It’s not the best shack representation ever but the idea comes across instantly and, more importantly, it begins to convey the feel of the restaurant. The logo is complemented by a series of spray-painted illustrations of lobsters, crabs, squids, and more, repeated in circular patterns.
