Logo, corporate identity and beer package design for the Grut restaurant. Branding agency Suprematika developed the logo, corporate identity and packaging design for restaurant “Grut”, which is located in the south of Moscow. The restaurant has an unique interior with an unusual usage of textures. Concrete, wood, metal constructions, unlined wall and the green veranda, fuctioning brewery. Most of the parts and pieces are handmade of “living” materials. Identity delicately based on minimalistic logo design and philosophical illustrations, where tree cut’s textures come alive and transform into a variety of landscapes.
The design takes inspiration from wood and the rings of trees while also incorporating surreal imagery. The black and white images and gritty texture draw in the viewer and provide for a unique experience while dining in the restaurant.
